Hello,

I wrote an article to try making a link between available data of different models and sources (opendata) and tools (in principle opensource) .

J'ai écrit un article tentant de faire un lien entre les données disponibles de modèles numériques différents (opendata et les outils à disposition (en principe opensourse) .

Nice discussion.

You might also mention various software and services and that have a free version with an option to pay for more data and capabilities, such as PredictWind, Theyr, Adrena, Expedition, Squid sailing (especially the "desktop" version).

Hello,

I did it for some tools that are asking very small amount for paying versions, not for the ones that are more expensive and/or give nearly nothing for the "free" versions.

This is deliberate not to mention paying tools, as I consider more important if, a cruiser wants to pay, he's doing it for expertised forecasts done by professional meteoroligists instead of paying royalties to companies to have access to the same data we are mentionning on this website and the new sources we are looking for and will add informations' accessibility as soon as we find them.
