Hello
Thank you, and congratulations for the Composite Reflectivity index, in the OpenWRF 4km. The thunderstorms that followed on August 15, were perfectly forecast for the areas of the Aegean Sea, the Ionian Islands and Sicily.
However, I wonder about the display in XyGrib of negative values for the Reflectivity indices (attached image), when loading a GFS grib GFS 10 days are very important for this area , to track medicane risks (TMS). This is probably a minor bug!!!

Hi,
Thanks for the appreciation of the openWRF 4km forecasts.
The value displayed by XyGrib of -20db in GFS grib files is not a bug. This is actually the value given, in GFS forecasts, to cells where no reflectivity is present..
The GRIB2 standard has "many flavours" and such differences do appear between different model outputs.
