Hello 5 years 11 months ago #31

Hello,

I discovered OpenGribs and your new iniciative XyGrib only a few days ago. It has been a nice surprise. Thank you very much!

As I have been doing with zyGrib, I'll try to colaborate with XyGrib according to my possibilities, In particular with the Spanish translation. And also suggesting some improvements to the program. The first one is the possibility of modifiying line width and colour for geopotential isolines. That would allow to plot very usefull weather charts, specially to study or teach meteorology.

By the way, I am not sure that this is the correct place for this message. If not, please let me know.

Regards,
Tropelio

Thanks for the kind words,
Geopotential isolines are indeed missing from the graphical options dialog. I will open an issue on github.com/opengribs/XyGrib and this should be included in the next releases.

Thanks for your answer.
On the other hand, I would like to work on the Spanish translation (which I did for zyGrib long ago). If I remember well I will need the corresponding *.ts file in order to work with it using Qt Linguist. Is that right? Where can I get the *.ts file?
Regards,
Tropelio

Edited: Forguet my question. I already found all the files needed to work on the translation.

Hello again,

I have been now updated the Spanish translation working with the file xyGrib_es.ts included in the source code. However, the new option "Dark Skin" does not appear in that file and, therefore, I have not been able to translate it. Does it mean that the file xyGrib_es.ts included in the source code is not updated?

Tropelio

It appear to have missed the last language compilation. I am opening an issue on GitHub to fix it.
Thanks,
David
