The weather prediction center in the US produces probabilistic QPFs in GRIB2 format, linked from the bottom of this page.
www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/pqpf/conus_hpc_pqpf.php
It's just several directories with .grb files. I'm new to the Grib file format, but I don't seem to be able to get these to load in XyGrib. I just get the message that it's not a GRIB file, or it contains unrecognized data.
Is this not the right type of grib file? Or is there something else I need to view these? I'd love to get a visualization of this data on a map I can control.

Thanks for the help!

Resources on this site will always be free and open with no commercialization. However, operating costs of the servers to pre-process and deliver GRIB files to XyGrib are not trivial.
