No bulk downloads - PLEASE! THIS IS OVERLOADING OUR SERVER AND DENYING ACCESS TO COMMUNITY USERS

PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE GRIB PRODUCERS (NOAA, DWD...) FOR BULK DOWNLOADS. Allez chercher les données directement à la source (NOAA, DWD ...)

Hello,

Thanks a lot for the new version 1.1.1. After installing it I have noticed that there are some differences in the directory structure with respect to previous versions. In particular the directory "data" is not here any more.I do not know if this is right or it means that there is some problem with the installation. I have noticed that the program works well in general. Hoever, the graphical parameters selector has no effect: Changing colors or line width there has no effect at all on the map displayed.

On the other hand, since there is no "data" directory it is not possible to "tune" by hand color scales to make then more suitable for some applications (for example, to display cold aire regions in upper levels).

Am I doing anything wrong?

1. Thanks for signaling the bug about graphical parameters.

2. Application and data have been adapted to be more in accordance with general rules of development.
You will find the data
- Linux : in $HOME/.local/openGribs/XyGrib
- Windows : in <USER>\local\<USER>\AppData\Local\openGribs\XyGrib\ (most probably)

This is a bug and and issue has been opened. The data structure is accessible but it is now where user application data should be. (Operating system dependent) as mentioned by DomH.
