Chart data across the Dateline 5 years 2 months ago #372

Hi, thank you so much for taking over zygrib and developing it as xygrib - I only discovered it by accident after two years of watching the zygrib site for some news of further development.
Living in New Zealand means that I use data that crosses the International Dateline. Xygrib handles this just fine except for the zoom to data function. What happens is that the zoom to data function zooms to the centre of a band that wraps around the globe in the opposite direction to the data. I have attached a screenshot where you can see the selected area is the band where the data isn't! It is not much of a problem as I can pan and reselect the right area but it would be nice it it just zoomed to the data in the way that zygrib did.
Many thanks,
Matt

Hi KiwiMetoc and welcome to the forum.

Good to know that there is life around the dateline!
We are aware of the bug you mentioned and it should be fixed in the next release.
