Hi Josep,

We do not have a georeference export feature. It is only possible to export a single image from the main screen or a sequence of images from the animation window. These are not georeferenced.

What usage do you have in mind for georeferenced data?

Use a georeferenced image allows you to include information of weather Xygrib, for example in google earth and other gis, and combine it with satellite images, radar, weather alerts and create personal maps.
Are ideas that I have in mind to take advantage of the information and graphics, which gives us xygrib
thanks.

I'm aware of the possibilities of georeferenced data.
It is a feature that we can consider adding to XyGrib some time in the future.

Nice to hear that this might be in a future update.

I want to georef current screenshots and was wondering what EPSG code the current XyGrib Mercator projection has. There are 100+ Mercator projections...

I guess it is one of those two :
WGS 84 / World Mercator - EPSG::3395 - ProjectedCRS
World Mercator - EPSG::19883 - CoordinateConversion

The EPSG: 3395 being the one I think it might be...
Maybe someone can tell me which..? Although in the screenshot resolution the difference is very small... Maybe even unnoticeable... ;-)
