Hi,

We have to consider the responsiveness of the grib server and as we are running on limited server resources it is not possible to increase the file download limit.
I can only suggest to decrease the area requested or the forecast length

Hello,
As the files are grib2 format it is quite easy to concatenate them
using in Linux cat file1 file2. ... file[N] > concatenated
and in windows copy /b file1 + file2 + file3 newfile

Hello,

This works nicely to concatenate files containing differente variables for the same geographic area. ¿Is there any way to concatenate files containing the same variables for adjacent geographic areas?

Thanks.

Hi,
I'm not aware of a simple solution to such concatenation.
The practical method to obtain a larger file from XyGrib is to perform a number of downloads for a given area and temporal length and to change the requested parameters for each download. These download will concatenate well to one large file.
